Summary:
Victory collaborated with the Client to develop an online, high school level Economics and Personal Finance course. Victory’s editorial and technology staff worked in collaboration with the Client’s content experts to develop instruction related to macro- and microeconomic concepts and financial literacy. The course was developed chiefly for high school students to satisfy Virginia’s Economic and Financial Literacy graduation requirement, implemented in 2011.
Facts:
- Developed 16 units containing 51 lessons, with a total of 160 individual, online, and interactive learning modules
- Created modules with interactive activities, assessments, and animations to demonstrate, apply, and reinforce important concepts
- Designed EconLab, an interactive, role-playing game-like simulation helping students apply the economics and personal finance concepts learned in the modules
- Aligned content to the Virginia Department of Education’s Economics and Personal Finance standards
